He took over the editing a Festschrift for Leo Bruhns (q.v.), Franz Graf Wolff Metternich (q.v.) and Ludwig Schudt (q.v.) from Heinrich Schwarz (q.v.) when Schwarz was killed in an accident in 1957.  Ironically, Hahn was also killed in an accident in 1960 and the ill-fated festschrift was finally given to Harald Keller (q.v.) to complete.
