Waldmann, Emil Date born: 1880 Place born: Bremen, Germany Date died: 1945 Place died: Würzburg, Germany Waldmann's touching eulogy to Julius Meier-Graefe (q.v.) demonstrated his appreciation for the historiography of art in genres other than his own. During his time as a student at Heidelberg, his colleagues included Rosa Schapire (q.v.), Edwin Redslob (q.v.), Walter Kaesbach (q.v.), Ernst Kühnel (q.v.).
